A pleasant sorpesa: Henri Herman
Searching the net about Rodulfo immigrants, I found this great project of Jean-Francois de Buren: The Grand Tour (http://vodhdb.blogspot.com/).
The project is on the trip that made Henri colossal Buren, naturalist Swiss noble ancestor of Jean-François, in the nineteenth century, a journey that took him through North and South America. Henri de Buren was happened in 1853 in Lima, met Damian Ijurra Schutz, and Manuel, and with them go with the first German expedition to Caballococha, where Germans settled and they continued their journey to the Atlantic, and then back Europe. comments in his blog that has the travel diary of his ancestor, invaluable document in which he narrates his adventures by the end of the world, including travel to Caballococha. I recommend it and enjoy reading.
