Viejo Tannat 2006 of H. Stagnari was awarded the Golden Bacchus
Montevideo, March 22, 2010. The winery Vinos Finos H. Stagnari received the Grand Award for his Golden Bacchus Viejo Tannat 2006 in Madrid along with two English wines. This is the first time a Uruguayan wine receive this distinction.
In the ninth edition of International Wine Competition organized by the English Tasters Union, brought together the best wines in the world, bringing together wineries from different continents. The award was Vinos Finos H. Stagnari by tannat, was the result of a blind tasting of a specialized jury and was evaluated by a total of 100 points, to stage visual, olfactory and gustatory.
This is one of the most prestigious wine awards and important on the international scene, and an ideal platform to give Uruguayan wines known. In the ninth edition, 72 expert tasters evaluated 1,624 wines from wineries in 21 countries in eight categories: sparkling, sparkling liquor, overripe grapes, raisin grapes and white, red and pink quiet.
