A Uruguayan sommelier working in Alicante (south Spain) was the winner of the 2010 Golden Nose Competition, held in Madrid and with the participation of the 48 best professionals in Spain.
The winner is Andrea Alonso, 34, who works at the mall Makro wine store in the city of Alicante and international experience in the field of sommelierie, according to Radio Programs Peru.
Alonso, mother of a girl of 10 years, has been sommelier at restaurants in Buenos Aires and La Cabañay at Hotel Sheraton Retiro.
